Berlin Calling is a German movie that shows the story of
Martin Karow a producer and DJ, who is trying to release a new album. However, his
drugs addiction made him psychotic and he ended in rehab. The time he spent in
this clinic made him realized that his will to record this album is strong
enough to recover him from his drug’s problems. When I compare the culture
differences related on the movie with Brazil, I could see that the family
bounds in Brazil are way more strong, and usually when a relative has a “healthy
problem” as he does, the family still together.
